It’s Never Too Late For Anything!
Have you ever said the following: “I’m too old to try … (fill in the blank)” or have you thought for years and years “I’d like to try …(fill in the blank)” and never did?
Well, here’s some encouragement for you! Deshun Wang – taking to the catwalk at age 80! Yes, 80! Here is how his life journey came about. The good, the bad … and then the cat walk!
There is a great book called The Artist’s Way and if you haven’t read it – I highly encourage you to pick it up! It’s used by writer’s with writers block, artists and those that want to get some creativity back in their life. It’s the book and the journal. The 2 are meant to be bought together – but you can purchase the book separately. I’ve bought both and found it to be very inspirational!
Part of the author’s instructions is to think back to your childhood and remember the things you wanted to be when you grew up, what activities made you happy, what gets your inner child excited? Going back to these things is such a fun exercise!
Enjoy the video above and I hope you’ll enjoy the book if you purchase it. In the meantime – for a little fun, in the comments below, I’d love to hear what you thought you wanted to be when you grew up? Did you become that?
I’ll start – I wanted to be a dancer … did that happen? NO! … but it’s something I still enjoy to this day!
