In the past month I’ve had the great opportunity to meet some new people and get out a bit into Madison and discover some local restaurants. It’s been fun. With restaurant week past us, it will be interesting to see the places I get to try next.
Here is a list of some of those places:
Johnny DelMonico’s: I had the opportunity to “power lunch” here a few weeks ago. Part of that power lunch included a fabulous desert of 3 types of Crème brûlée; nutella, original and cinnamon flavored. fantastic!
I also had the opportunity to head over to BonFyre Grill for an after holiday party. This place is buzzing! Great wine and food. REALLY like wine? They have private wine lockers available for you! Loved the atmosphere there – great place to be seen!
One of the more popular groups out there that meet up in the Madison area is High Tech Happy Hour. If you are a follower on my twitter account and facebook account- you know this is a popular once a month gathering. Techies, free beer and lots of conversation. Check it out the next time they schedule a meet up!
High Tech Happy Hour’s last gathering was at The Brink Lounge. Not the easiest place for parking – but the location is great for entertaining a group. Warm atmosphere, lounge chairs and a large bar. This is a great place to host a party.
Just a few places you might want to check out during your stay in Madison, WI! See you around town!
