I’m still amazed that people keep bringing this up. I recently read an article on a real estate site to which a marketing person proclaimed that Social Media was a sinkhole for professional real estate agents. Seriously?
Let’s take a look at some of those “sinkhole” ways.
Mary Lascelles – Has branded herself as …. ReloMary …. she can help you in your full move. Google her. She has a great following on LinkedIn.
Ask Fede Alverez who just secured a $30 Million deal off his video Ataque de Panico (Panic Attack) if social media worked for him. Literally an unknown
Let’s take a look at Gary Vaynerchuk and his wine sales. Vaynerchuk found first hand that $15,000 in Direct Mail = 200 new customers, $7,500 Billboard = 300 new customers, $0 Twitter = 1,800 new customers.
Why don’t you ask Madison McGraw – the lady that just blogged / tweeted her way into being hated by mommy bloggers worldwide what she thinks about social media.
The ways we communicate with each other is shifting and it’s very exciting. You can move along with the change or sit back and watch it pass you and your business by. Up to you! Personally, I like to be where the people are – and I think you do to.
Here is a great video to end the post with: (thanks to MHR Studios where I found this video and Gary V. Stats!)

Hi Jennifer,
I wanted to thank you for the link. I find it amazing that a lot people still under-estimate the power of social media. Perhaps some of the stats will convince them.
Keep up the great work.
